Meet Dr. Marr

Dr. William Marr, a native of Victoria, TX, graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in 1977 and completed his medical education at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. He completed his internship in categorical internal medicine and his ophthalmology residency at Scott & White Healthcare in Temple, TX.

He is board certified and has practiced in Bryan since 1984. He regularly serves as a missionary surgeon to the inhabitants of Belize.

Awards & Personal Life

Marr Eye Center was voted best Ophthalmology/Optometrist practice in the Bryan/College Station Eagle’s Readers Choice in 2008 and 2010, 2013, and 2015 and in 2009, we were voted Best Ophthalmology office in the Brazos Valley.

Dr. Marr and his wife Linda have two children, Caitlin and Daniel who is married to Anna.  Daniel and Anna have one child, eleanor and are expecting their second daughter the summer of 2016.
